Smart Moving is a long established, successful, family-run removal business based in Manchester, providing local, national and international moves. We offer competitive rates, excellent service and peace of mind for you, knowing that your valuables are in safe hands.
We are a small Removal business, specialising in home deliveries. We are small enough to provide you with a personal service tailored to your needs and yet big enough to manage larger workloads. We also do house and office clearances and removals.

-Goods in transit insurance
-Public Liability upto £1,000,000
Terms and conditions:
-We reserve the right to withdraw our bid should your item be incorrectly described.
-Any extra items please note an extra fee may be chargeable.
-Maximum weight of goods cannot exceed the load weight for the vehicle.
-We reserve the right to charge waiting time @ a rate of £40 hour or part thereof for any waiting time over 15 minutes.
-All our quotations are based on ground floor to ground floordelivery.
-All quotations are based on one man-one vehicle. Additional men can be supplied at £40.
-Cancellations accepted up to 10 days before collection time and a full refund will be issued.
-Any damages must be noted on receipt and will not be accepted after.
-Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances but we will update you. No reduction of charges will be accepted.
-If you accept our bid on a “flexible” job listing we reserve the right to plan these jobs within 14 calendar days of acceptance.
-Payment to our bank account must be made in GB pounds and cleared before delivery.
PayPal payments acceptable and service charge payable by customer to PayPal.
To become an Accredited transport provider we ask our users to present one of the following pieces of documentation to further verify themselves.
- Copy of Goods in Transit Insurance certificate
- Company Registration certificate (if applicable)
- UK VAT registration certificate (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Drivers licence details
