About Me
We are an English owned and operated transport company specialising in transport to and from Italy and Switzerland. We now also cover on demand Germany, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Czech Republic and Poland.
We run regular weekly part loads to all of the countries we have mentioned and full loads go on a daily basis. We are able to take on large freight jobs to large removals (Pre-Packed by Customers and ready for road transport). We are also able move obscure loads, sculptures; airplane’s and art work for some very well-known art galleries.
Please feel free to speak with us about your transport needs, although our standard quote you would have received on Anyvan dot com is based on doorstep to doorstep delivery we can look at each job on a cases by case basis and re-quote for additional services should you need them.
SWITZERLAND
Our bid includes the fees for export papers from the UK being stamped at Dover.
Our bid DOES NOT INCLUDED Swiss import agent fees. If you are importing or exporting we will put you in touch with Swiss, French, German or Italian customs clearance agents who will administer your shipment through the boarder. You should budget around 100 to 200 euros for customs clearance fees on the Swiss border, this is dependant on the route in to Switzerland and complexity of the clearance involved. New good’s will require Swiss duty to be paid upon entry in addition to clearance fees. Good’s already in use, personal effects or removals do not require duty to be paid to Swiss customs. Any fees are paid directly to the agent by you. We will be on hand after your bid is accepted to help guide you through the whole thing, it’s what we do day after day.
Our payment terms are 14 days before collection for shipment. You can pay us by bank transfer or PayPal but please be aware we don’t let our drivers handle cash for security reasons.
We are contactable Monday to Friday office hours and if your goods are being moved over the weekend we will give you an out of hour’s phone number for you to contact us on.

Impresentables es decir poco. No se presentan ni el día, ni a la hora acordados. No devuelven las llamadas, ni ofrecen soluciones cuando les llamas. Después de horas, la gente de anyvan (que se portaron fenomenal) dieron con ellos. Las evasivas y mentiras que nos contaron tanto a anyvan como a mi, de manual de estafador... impresentables. SWISSIT Totally unfair and unjust negative feedback given here. 3 of my team members, 2 members from another companies and the Anyvan Team worked tirelessly to resolve the issue when the first truck that was due to collect hit a pot hole, therefore had mechanical wheel trouble, not just a puncture that would have been fixed within an hour….You was offered other transport that you refused and didn’t arrive at the collection address when the 3rd attempt to collect was made. Threatening us with legal action and swearing at members of my staff and drivers did not make the process of informing you with each eventuality as it occurred any easier. Mechanical faults and accidents are an unfortunate plight all transport companies endure and my team and many others did all within our reach to rectify this matter. Sometimes trying to satisfy the unsatisfiable is impossible. |

SwissIT has made moving a breeze. To be honest I did have a moving company who took on the job to move me From Belgium to Scotland but a week before the date they just told me they could only fit me the next month!!! You can imagine what stress I was in to organize everything from the beginning again. I requested many quotes but obviously due the the time pressure no other companies could fit me or for a prize which was beyond affordable. - and SwissIT came into the picture. Even after the quoting period they answered my every question even though I did not yet award the job to them. To me, this was really refreshing and helpful to feel taken of so well eventhough no contract was awarded. So I decided to go with them and it was the best decision ever. Everyday we had a chat on the phone working towards the goal to get me moved asap, I was in the unfortunate situation that I had no help at all nor here in Belgium nor in Scotland but SwissIT did take care of that too by organizing a driver who did the whole loading for me here and care everything at my new home in the 1st floor. Everything arrived within two days and not a single damage. I have to say my next move (I honestly hope it will not be soon) will be with SwissIT as they make moving a piece of cake! |

I moved 1m3 of parcels and suitcases from Switzerland to the UK, and everything arrived intact. The drivers in both countries were nice and helpful. However, the company seems to be having logistical problems with part-loads and does not give proper consideration to 'small' customers. I constantly had to email / phone them to get an update on where my parcels were - which, when you are moving, is an added stress. Although when I first talked to them, they said that I would receive my parcels within 48 hours after they've picked them up in Switzerland, I had to wait for 2 weeks. I understand that customers with part loads have to be flexible, but the lack of communication and transparency regarding the delivery was disappointing. SWISSIT Thanks for your feedback. Its not possible to deliver Part Loads from Switzerland in 48 hours. We would not have made such claims and are never likely to. Full van loads can be delivered within 48 hours. Regarding our communications, no one else has reported any problems. All emails answered sameday or nextday Monday to Friday. Suggest using DHL next time!!! |
