Damage to furniture in transit. Pointed out same to driver when unloading. Did not want to take responsibility. Blaming irish customs who searched his van in Rosslare. Very unprofessional service. Movers inexperienced. Driver was on only his second job. His helper was a "mate " in his seventies who came along as a favour and had never moved furniture before. When we complained about service and damage, we received an unsavoury email from Steve Redfern, the driver, who referred to me as "a sad Paddy" . Have referred the matter to our solicitor as the operators won't provide us with their insurance details. SMove Our service was so bad that the customer actually tipped the driver at collection and delivery and presented him with a bottle of whisky AFTER the delivery. HArdly rings true does it ? Our driver reported that this customer was a nightmare to work for from start to end. Our driver was harassed from the start and the couple were "Supervising" the driver and assistants every move and moaned as they were doing it. We would recommend that If this customer ever uses this site again then Anyvan users should avoid like the plague. Just the sort of people who want be be in charge of everything. One look at our 100% feedback history will tell anyone potential customers the truth. |
