Several things went badly wrong:
1. A porcelain duck of very great sentimental was taken, by special arrangement, in the drivers cab. It was never delivered. I would have expected an email explaining how it can be returned to me, by post if necessary.
2. The remaining items were unloaded with no regard whatever to care and attention; it looked as if they had been transported by a tipper lorry and simply dumped in a heap. As a result I shall now have to replace and/or make insurance claims for:
a. One electric cooker
b. One illuminated magnifier on a stand
3. They took two black bags of rubbish and a 'warehouse trolley' which does not even belong to me; I shall now have to return the trolley or buy my previous landlord a new one.

I hope I shall be able to give further feedback to report that these matters have been fully rectified. The porcelain duck is the most distressing, its emotional value to me being impossible to compensate for by money or an insurance valuation/replacement-as-new. It was a gift from someone I was very fond of, and is symbolic of my relationship with their whole family and mutual friends.

When we arrived at this job this elderly man was being evicted from a care home , he never had any of his belongings packed at all everything was dumped loose at the front reception of the sheltered accomodation , boxes collapsed due to customer over weighting them , bin bags were burst , everything was filthy , it was clear the customer was in some form of mental decline or illness , he was in a vulnerable situation with the organisation for his removal very poor indeed ,we loaded the goods in to our truck loosely as this person was clearly vulnerable, on arrival to his new accommodation he was not there to help unload the loose material packed . The house on arrival was far too small for the vulnerable man massive failing by care home and his family for not helping pack anything , the materials were filthy and disgusting we had to move , his new neighbour witnessed the way he packed our truck with things loose, there was not enough space at new property and no one there to organise unload , with regards to a cooker customer is stating was moved we never moved a cooker for this gentleman, he was contacted by text and telephone to arrange collection of the ornamental chicken we put in cab for safe keeping as when we arrived home this was found safely boxed by us , no further communication received by customer and he doesn't answer calls we can not post as its extremely fragile customer has used the anyvan feedback tool for excuses to his own rushed last minute eviction and very bad situation he has left himself in , we moved everything the way he put into truck and unloaded the way it was left to us we offer a packing service at additional cost to which customer said he will refuse as everything ready to go , clearly all lies we are not social workers and this mans condition is not our responsibility we only move his goods .
