Despite me checking in with him a couple of weeks before the moving day and being told everything was OK the transport did not turn up at the agreed time. I phoned to be told he had literally that morning returned from a holiday and had forgotten our arrangement. He gave me a number to contact for another van who agreed to do it at very short notice. Unfortunately he was not willing to do the job at the quoted price so I had to pay more than the balance previously agreed. |

was surprised that the "van" was actually a small car and the 2 machines were rather squashed in to the boot with much manouevering of the seats etc. the 2 guys were very polite and helpful and the delivery took place but the machines were knocked about a bit. cant fault the men in question but a bigger vehicle was definitely required. |

I paid for 3 drivers yet they thought it was ok to ask us to help them, they took legs of tables without putting them back on, lost a leg to my sofa, but worse of all damaged my fridge freezer, the plug was squashed so had to buy new plug n fix it, my fridge freezer now wobbles and has a big dent on freezer door! I called to complain and requested a small amount of compensation for him to say he'd call back which he didn't so later on I called again n he said I paid to take my items from one property to another and that's what they done? Maybe the can of lager I gave them which they drank on the job went to there heads but they obviously find damaging my property acceptable, absolute cowboys avoid at all costs! I'll be taking this further RTrans Hi, you requested for 2 people, i brought an extra to make the move easier and quicker. I did not charge you any extra for being 3 of us. We were moving boxes and large furniture and you and your friends just sat in the way drinking and we had to keep saying excuse me to get by each time. thats why i asked you if it was ok to just move the boxes out of the way, i didnt request you to help us lift anything at all. We did remove the legs from the sofa as you know yourself, it was the only option as it was not going to fit through the doors. You called and asked me to check the van for a missing leg, i advised you that it was not in the van, you sent me a text a little later to confirm you had found it !! Im very sorry your move did not go as smooth however, would like to reassure you that we take pride in each and every job we do and move property with utmost care. |
