I would advise against using this courier as very unreliable. Slow at arranging a pickup date and pulled out of the job after I had been waiting a long time, despite me having all ready paid my deposit. I was very upset at having to delay as I had purchased this item off eBay and the seller was expecting it to be picked up swiftly. Nice chap, but communication very poor. Van much smaller than requested so bi fold doors had to be broken down in to small parts. this caused major inconvience both ends. He asked the pick up point for extra money although brief was clear. Items got here eventually. Some small damage to windows, but not broken... I hope this feedback helps mercman to improve service. Turned up after giving all the details, weight dimensions, Goods are on wheels and decided they couldn't get it in the truck , no tail lift. Phoned them up prior to delivery and they didn't even know how much they were charging for the job. BEWARE ! Mercman1 PLEASE READ CAREFULLY#WON THE BID ON THIS JOB ITS BEEN VERY DIFFICULT TO GET HOLD HIM CAUSE HES ON DIFFERENT TEL NUMBER. Initially the driver was unable to find my property, so I had to walk around the block to find him. The first thing the driver said was complaining that I hadnt accepted his previous more expensive bid. The van is dirty inside and not equipped to wrap or tie down goods. When helping me carry the desk from the property into the van the driver was not at all careful, leaving knocks all over the walls and chips to the mahogany desk. When we finally arrived at the self store unit the driver simply got the desk out of the van and drove away, leaving me to try and load it onto a trolley. Overall a very poor service from a rude, sloppy and unprofessional man with a van. Mercman1 FRUSTRATED MAD IM ABOUT TO EXPLODE.IM TRYING TO CONTROL MYSELF CAUSE IM REALLY UPSET ABOUT THIS BAD FEEDBACK ,IVE WORKED SO HARD TO PLEASE CUSTOMER ON ANYVAN EVEN GO OUT OF MY WAY TO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE SMILES ON THEIR FACE AFTER EACH JOB BUT I CANT PLEASE EVERY CUSTOMER.THIS GUY MOAN BEFORE HE ACCEPTED MY BID HE ACCEPTED IT WENT TO HIS HOUSE COULDNT FIND THE IDIOT ON TIME GOT INSIDE HIS HOUSE HE LISTED HE WANT A DESK MOVED BUT WHEN I GOT THERE IT WAS SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT, OK I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT I SETTLED FOR IT ,HE HELPED CARRIED THE DAMM THING HE MOANS THAT ITS TOO HEAVY AND HE WAS STRUGGLING GOT IT INSIDE MY VAN GOT TO THE DELIVERY POINT HELPED HIM OUT TO GET THE ITEM INSIDE A STORAGE ,THIS IS THE FUNNY PART HE DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY ON HIM I HAVE TO DRIVE HIM TO A CASH POINT,PLEASE HAVE IN MIND THIS JOB IS ONLY 37 POUNDS.OK I TOOK HIM TO A CASH POINT HE TOOK AGES HE LATER CAME BACK GAVE THE MONEY AND OUT OF PITY I TOOK HIM BACK TO HIS STORAGE PLACE,I ASKED HIM ARE U HAPPY WITH MY SERVICE HE SAID YES THAT HES GREATFULL BUT TO MY SUPRISE FEW DAYS LATER HE LEFT THIS BAD FEEDBACK I TRIED TO CONTACT HIM TO SEE WHETHER IT WAS MEANT FOR SOMEON ELSE HE DIDNT WANT TO TLK ABOUT IT .THIS HURT CAUSE PPL LIKE HIM MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR A TRANSPORT PROVIDER LIKE ME .I WILL CONTINUE WORKING HARD AND PLEASING MY CUSTOMER CAUSE THATS THE WAY FORWARD THIS IS A SET BACK THAT COULD COST ME WINNING JOBS .PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND DONT IGNORE MY BID THANKS ALOT |
