great delivery ,very good service ,many thanks

not ever so happy to be honest, the quote was fine, however I fully explained that I was a furniture company and that it was being delivered directly to my customer, gave all details and contact details etc
the time given was 3-4pm on friday, 5pm no sign, so I called to be told it would be around 5.30pm as he had another job, not a problem I asked them to call the customer and our office closed
the customer took the afternoon off work and they turned up at 8pm
a call would have been helpful
as we are an office, we close at weekends, from when we left on friday, the job was not completed, therefore we didn't pay, we came in to two payment requests, despite the automated email stating we were closed over the weekend, , at just 9am, the courier called saying we have not been paid, I said yes, that was correct, we had been closed and you didn't deliver between 3-4pm as expected so therefore, our office was then closed, when you had completed the delivery, I assured him that he would be paid asap as we had just opened and I would pass onwards to accounts
This was paid this morning promptly and I have just received another call from a lady stating that I had not paid
We have paid and I have told her to recheck her bank account correctly , to be honest, we use anyvan quite a few times a week and I must say i am not at all happy with this couriers attitude at all
yes they were delivered on the day stated, but the overall experience was not something that I would recommend

I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way about the level of service you've received. We aim to provide an enjoyable, efficient service to all our customers. After speaking with you on Friday with an update on ETA, I estimated that I would arrive between 6:30-6:45pm. I then contacted the customer directly to inform them that I was held up in traffic and would be a bit later than I hoped. Unfortunately, there is not a lot we can do about traffic, we try our best to make our deliveries within our eta's, however, it's not always possible. I am sorry that we have had to contact you twice for payment, however, the delivery was made on Friday as planned,even if a little later than expected due to rush hour Friday traffic. Payment was due on day of delivery as agreed in advance. I appreciate that your business does not trade on weekends, however, as payment was being made via bank transfer I thought payment would have been made sooner. Nothing was received after checking several times today (Monday) when you said we would receive payment early morning. Payment arrived immediately after the second phone call in the late afternoon. We will take this feedback on board to improve our standard of service and we appreciate the time you've taken to highlight areas we can improve on. All the best, James
