Accepted our bid then never bothered to tell us he hadn't even won the auction for the car he had arranged for us to pick up..iy took 5 days to contact him and find out what was going on when a simple phone call from him would have allowed us to arrange other work |

before accepting a bid from grassy we exchanged a couple of messages, he was quick at replying to them. after accepting his bid and paying the deposit to anyvan he basically ignored me, ie; did not answer phone calls or reply to voicemails I left him I also emailed grassys company email address and again no reply. due to this the vehicle I was purchasings was sold else where! very annoyed!!! Grassy (37) replied: I have just got back off holiday and seen your feedback..Thanks for that mate. This is the first time I have even seen you had accepted a quote from us.. In response to your comments...You accepted the quote 5DAYS after you contacted us... We always ask customers to contact us before they accept our quotes.. We do not mean accept the quote 5 days later as that would be pointless.. I am very sorry that you missed out on your car but I don't accept any responsibility for your loss.. You should have contacted us the day you decided to accept and we would have explained that we were fully booked and on holiday on your required dates....As for you being very annoyed...well so am I. Im annoyed that you are able to leave feeback on me that isn't accurate and gives the impression that we accepted your job and then let you down..That as you know is untrue... we gave you a price and you then waited 5 days to accept after speaking to us.. The reason you waited was obviously to try and get the job done cheaper.. which would have left us out of pocket if we had kept the slot open while you decide what to do....IF WE ACCEPT JOBS THEN WE DO THEM...WE DO NOT IGNORE CUSTOMERS AND TO SUGGEST THAT WE SPOKE AND AGREED TO DO THE JOB IS UNTRUE.. WE GAVE YOU A SLOT TIME AND DAY AND THAT WAS THE LAST WE HEARD FROM YOU UNTIL 5 DAYS LATER WHEN YOU DECIDED TO ACCEPT AND EXPECTED EVERYTHING TO FALL IN PLACE FOR YOU... Fantastic at very short notice the guys managed to pick up car from Peterborough on Friday 4.30 and drop off in Glasgow Saturday morning. Great communication all the way from txt to say collected from dealership to progress and 30 mins before arrival phone call. Excellent value and service. |
