Just another happy Anyvan customer...(no comment was left, just positive feedback)

Excellent service...no problems at all!

Please take my experience with this company as a warning never to use them. They picked up fine but in a shaky looking van. On delivery day he broke down and went home. I only found that out after calling him when he didn't turn up. Promised to deiver in a few days when van was fixed and then came up with a million different excuses which changed every time we spoke (me calling him, never him calling me). We ended up with our sofa in his lock up 100 miles further away from its destination than it started 2 weeks after he collected it. Then he washed his hands of it,said it was 'out of his control' so I paid someone else to collect it - paid twice and, despite him giving his 'word' that he would repay me the £131 I paid him he has now disconnected his mobile and ignored me. Anyvan chasing him as well but with no results so I guess I'm screwed. His name is David Sergeant in case he turns up under another company name. Please stay away from him - he's a liar and will mess you about/leave you out of pocket.

I could not believe how bad Dave at Goldwing was. For well over a week he promised that he would pick up the bed which was being housed at a depot - and due to the simple fact that he did not speak to the company who were holding the bed (who, if given notice would make sure there was someone at the depot to hand it over) - could not firstly pick up the bed for an entire week. Then, when he did eventually manage to pick it up (after I coordinated both sides - because this was apparently too complicated for Dave) he was unable deliver the bed for a further week - and this despite him telling me every day that he would deliver it the next day.

I obviously understand that there are some things which are unavoidable, but Dave was apparently unable to communicate anything in advance - so everyday I would have to organise someone to be available for what would turn out to be a non-existent delivery. Obviously it was never Dave's fault that it wasn't going to be that day - as he listed reason after reason that it was out of his control (someone broke into my van, another pick up was late, etc, etc, etc!).

At the end of the week, when I had reached the end of my patience, I told him firmly that the newest list of reasons was really not my problem. It is up to him to make sure he has enough time to meet the promises and deadlines he has made. And in a typically non-adult manor of a man who is unable to deal with simple problems - he hung up on me. Great I thought - I have paid half the charge, have waited for two weeks for my bed - which he now has, and I have been hung up on. Really great service.

The bed did eventually arrive. I still paid him (even after all that - which was far too reasonable) - and even despite the fact the bed was filthy due to being in the back of his van and not looked after.

He told me that week that he was giving up this business - because it was too hard. I really hope for the sake of any future customers that he has.

We did correspond with the storage company and made arrangements to collect it however if you remember rightly sir you gave us the wrong address so we could not collect for you that week as you gave us an address at the other side of the country and we only discovered this when contacting the storage company and asking them to confirm their address, had you given us the correct information at the onset maybe we could have kept to our delivery schedule, the bed was protected and was not filthy and the reason we contemplated giving up the business was because of customers like yourself who cannot relay something as simple as an address, this was your bed, in storage you had arranged and you did not even know where it was being stored, i rest my case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
