Breach of contract by Glynn. Damaged my expensive and new furniture, left 6 dining chairs listed on the quote at the old place and turning up 4 hours late. He cramped everything into his small van and even had to tie the door of the van. I had warned him that my furniture is new and expensive. No protective material was used at all. He made it clear that he will not take 2 trips even though it was 3 miles apart. He demanded for payment when I made him aware that he had damaged my furniture and my new skirting board in my newly rebuilt house.. He said that all I have to do was to contact Anyvan and I can claim it through his insurance. With that assumption, I told him that I will only pay him after connecting my furniture back. ( I did not realise at that time that my leather sofa was not connected properly with the electrical wiring left on the floor. Glynnsta but with all of that you would have been happy if i just did not charge!!. you are currently trying this with other delivery companies. i dispute this completely and did so at the time clearly. i have my pictures and evidense i would like you to take me to a small claims court were i will prove this and have you remove these comments at your expence. We could not have taken more time and care with your items. as for being late. you were offered the 1st slot but wanted the afternoon and you were kept informed. |
