Very disappointed. The pick up and delivery was ok and he was helpful enough. However, when it came to paying, he said I had to pay £48, the amount he had quoted. This was the first time I used anyvan and in the stress of moving, I did not realise that the online pay had been part of the total quote. I thought I may as well round it up and gave him £50. When I realised the £8 or so fee I had previously paid online should have been deducted from the cash I should have paid him, I contacted him twice but he has ignored me on both occasions. Gburr (155) replied: we never ask for any amount the customer said i will give you £50 at the time it was seen as a tip, as we arrived early & worked hard, when the customer contacted us about over payment we said we would take it of there next job already listed or if they send a paypal request we would send refund,, all messages are saved for anyone who wants to read them, also anyvan would not give advise like this |
