While the move went well and the customer service was good before the move, a number of our items got damaged in the move (samedayanyday was the company). I have been in touch to get compensation and they have done nothing about it. I would like to receive compensation for my damaged coffee table and lamp. I am really disappointed in the aftercare service. BK2012 (471) replied: Unfortunately, this customer reported damage to their furniture approx 4 days after the removal took place. When the customer notified us, we were away on holiday, which the customer was made aware of. On our return we contacted the customer, and she said that there was a lamp damaged. This was a further approx 10 days after the removal. After receiving the photos, the coffee table was scratched, but still completely useable. I offered compensation for a complete sand down and a new wax coating, which the customer refused. I notified that out t's & c's clearly state that any issues must be notified within 48 hours. However, out of goodwill I told the customer that we will forward all details onto our insurance, and they will send her the relevant forms. We received these forms within a week, and they sent these to the customer also. We never heard anything else since Jan 26th, until a few days ago, where the customer claimed they never received the forms, and they are now in Brazil and want them electronically emailing over. Unfortunately, as with all Insurance companies, they will not send documents electronically. I have emailed the customer back stating this, and asking if there would be anyone at their address, who could sign the documents on their behalf, and never heard back until this feedback has been left. We have done all what we can to assist the customer and have forwarded all of the documents and emails onto Anyvan, for their review. |

Simply an excellent service. From first contact through to the final box was placed at our new address, everything was smooth and efficient. The office staff and the two strong young men who did all the hard work were polite, and very very helpful, it all went like clockwork, nothing was to much trouble for them. |
