He had completely forgotten the arrangement so I had to phone him up. Apparently he'd got in at 5am and gone straight to sleep. He eventually turned up an hour late and was clearly exhausted. My partner did at least half of all the lifting and carrying. He had not advised us that he would be on his own - had my partner not been there, he would not have been able to move the furniture by himself so the job could not have been completed. He also managed to smash an ornament on the wall which had sentimental value. Very unprofessional service. |
