The job was done fine but the transporter wanted cash on delivery. Therefore the garage the car was taken to paid £100 cash which I had sent them by debit card early morning. Because this transport company is NOT VAT REGISTERED I also had a 20% VAT Charge on top of the £100 meaning I had a further £20 to pay. The next quote originally was with a company who accepted PayPal & card payments & their quote was £100 meaning it would've been cheaper to go with them saving £20 on VAT. |
