I accepted a quote from Top1move, paid the deposit, then Anyvan sent me their details, I rang them and e-mailed them 4 times and they never responded to me at all. Obviously not acceptable and certainly did not inspire me with confidence if they couldn't even respond to an e-mail or phone call. I got back in touch with Anyvan to tell them that I wanted to cancel and they fully agreed, they refunded my deposit and encouraged me to leave the feedback. My disappointment is with Top1Move and not Anyvan.

Avoid at all cost! Came with a hired van which had no support, covers for the furniture, over two hours late, once the furniture was moved to our new home the guys bashed all the walls putting the furniture into the correct rooms, at the same time scratching all of the living room furniture and wardrobes, they then charged us more than what was quoted saying that the quote we thought applied had never even been provided.

We turned our tv on later on that day to find it broken as though the screen had been hit, no picture just a hit Mark and blue,red lines down the screen. Rang to speak with the removal guy who tried to deny it was them who broke the tv, as they transported it on their knee (very professional) which was a lie as we watched them fetch it from the back of the van and we had watched the tv that morning so knew it was fine before the guys moved it. I asked that they put our tv through their insurance to be advised that they had none. The solution provided was that they would take the tv away to be fixed, as we don't know the guys we felt uncomfortable doing this so suggested that they give the money back we paid for them to move us so it would at least cover the excess on our insurance. We have been unable to get a response since!

For all you house movers please please pay a bit extra and obtain the services of a legitimate business not some cowboys who hire an afford rent a van for the day with no insurance, or you will end up having to redecorate, replace furniture and a 42inch tv!!!!

Negative feedback given because 8 hours late for job! That meant that house move started at 8pm and ended at 1.30am! Not what you want when moving house! Controller kept me up to date with whatever reason was causing the delay, putting it off a few hours at a time each time he rang. Was too late to arrange another remover and had to be done that day.
Guys doing the actually lifting / moving did the job okay, packing the van very well, but late hour, tired men and owners, meant things not able to be put in correct rooms, giving us extra has small of moving things around new house.
Men were always very pleasant and helpful though, and if job was started on time would have got positive feedback.

Eventually brought the sofa 24hr later than arranged after much confusion. Don't recommend
