Unreliable. Total disappointment. I had flown down early morning to help elderly father move and had set up the removal in advance. Contact was fine up to and including day of removal then was told that he was running late by an hour. Then didn't show and mobile was switched off. Didn't take calls or reply to text. Couldn't be polite and muster the courage to phone to say he was no longer willing or able to do the job. Was just left hanging with no explanation. My first experience using Anyvan and it put me off. Disappointing.

Very pleased, curtious, polite and efficient. From my experience I would recommend to others.

If you would like your move doing on time & with out damage, AVOID THIS "COMPANY"

I'm not sure where to start with this but here goes.

Firstly I was using this service to arrange a removal for my father-in-law as he is disabled and lives with his son. Neither of who drive. We arrange for an AM collection as the whole move needed to be done in one day to avoid having to double up on rent for two address. I also specifically requested a Luton van as the load capacity was greater to reduce the amount of trips required, thus time spent in transit. When we made contact with Steve he informed us that a Luton van would be used and that a 8am start would suit.
Moving day.
After no one arriving by 9 am we made contact to find out what was happening, we were told he would be there between 11am and 1pm. Not sure how it managed to slip 4 hours already in his day but never mind. At 1pm there was still no sign of him. At this point my father-in-law(disabled) and brother-in-law are starting to get worried as they are sat in there flat, surrounded by boxes and have been ready to since 8am. After future contact we were then told that he was stuck on a job in HALIFAX! Bear in mind that we are sat in Telford, almost 3 hours away waiting for our 8 am collection! After a few more conversations on the phone and a few more hours pass he eventually turns up at 6pm, only 10 hours late then. To the his credit he did say he would knock some money off the total. And to top that off they are in a ford transit! Its a bit of a long rant but it gets better so, please do continue to read. At around 2pm another family member had been able to help out with there car and by the time the “removals guys” turned up, pretty much all of the boxes were gone and it was only really the big and bulky furniture and the last remaining boxes left. After 3 trips in the miniature Luton “transit” the still didn’t have everything loaded and just turned around and said we can’t fit any more in! Ok then so I’ll guess I’ll go buy a new microwave, kitchen bin, cooker, toaster, laundry bin. And to top that off when paying at the end he didn’t take any money off and demanded the full amount as it was late. This was obviously our fault then!!! By the time everything they wanted to bring was unloaded at the new address it was midnight. This left my brother-in-law frantically trying to get a bed set up for his Dad as well as trying to make it safe to get around the house as these guys just dumped the boxes where ever they could find some space. After checking the furniture the next day the following was found to be damaged. Sofa had a foot snapped off, wooden furniture scratched all over, washing machine no longer works (did have transit pegs installed as well), metal bed head board broken.

All in all I would not recommend these guys has they are quite simply, incapable, un helpful and not trustworthy.

Steve & his team were very helpful, friendly & efficient. They took care with our furniture and carried all the heavy pieces upstairs that we needed them to.
