We are a professional, South East London based, family run, Removals business with over 25 years professional driving experience. We undertake house and office moves as well as furniture delivery. We also offer a packing service and supply packaging materials.
We use skates and sack barrows to move items from your property to our vehicle and have a tail lift for easy loading of larger items.
We have blankets and straps to secure your items during transit.
£10,000 Goods in Transit insurance.
£1,000,000 public liability insurance.
Short and long term storage available.
For specific times and dates please check availability before accepting our bid to avoid disappointment.
If there are any restrictions to access or parking please inform us before accepting our bid as this will not be included in the price provided.
We assume that listings 3rd floor and above have working lift access for all items.
Unless stated we assume all collections and deliveries are ground floor.
All furniture must be disassembled, disconnected and made ready for collection. We can do this for you, please ask for costs if required. If you do require this service please inform us before our arrival so we can plan our day to avoid other customers waiting.
Unlisted inventory will result in additional charges. Our quote is based on GIVEN inventory any additional inventory should be notified by you to us prior to our arrival so that we can plan timings on the day. Charges for additional inventory are minimum 2.00 GBP per item, largr items charges can be more. This is to cover for the extra time and labour.
In case of misinformation by the customer, we reserve the right to cancel the job.

Price is split into 3 amounts:-
1) Anyvan deposit - paid to Anyvan when accepting our bid
2) 20% (£20 min) Booking fee - paid to us on accepting our bid
3) Remaining balance - paid to us cash on delivery.
Please ensure the required cash is available on the day. We cannot take customers to cash points to withdraw funds. We have a tight schedule to keep.
For BACS transfers funds must be cleared into our account at least 48 hours prior to our arrival.

The chaps were pleasant enough but I had to hire another big van to finish the move myself as the van they arrived in was too small and although quote was for 3 bed house seemed they didn't realise there was a 3 bed house to move. But it could of been worse! |

I cannot speak highly enough of Demet and the team at Son of a Gun. Efficient, friendly response to communications in the pre-move stage and questions/requests. Arrived promptly (in fact early) on the day of the move, friendly, helpful, willingly went the extra mile and very efficient. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great service which is very reasonably priced. |

I am extremely satisfied with the company and have already recommended the service to friends. The team of three were so friendly, professional, calm and quick. The were extremely understanding when I forgot to mention the extra set of stairs too! They are a bit more expensive than some of the other quotes, but the service is entirely worth it, and the team will add an extra person if need be. 11/10! |
