I DO NOT RECOMMEND this appalling company! My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The movers, recommended by Anyvan, left half my furniture behind, citing weight restrictions. However, I had provided Anyvan with an itemized list of my belongings before the move, and they assured me I was well within my capacity. When I asked what would happen if I went over the weight limit, Niko assured me that everything would be fine—yet they still left half my items behind, with no plan to return to retrieve the rest?!

To make matters worse, S2E are now refusing to acknowledge my payment, despite my having sent them clear proof of the transfer. Instead, they’re demanding double the amount to complete the move. While I understand the potential need for additional transport, the lack of accountability is alarming—no discount offered, no attempt to resolve this fairly. They’re essentially holding my furniture hostage until I comply. This behaviour is blatantly dishonest, extortionate, and incredibly distressing. Given the proof of payment, it’s baffling that they’d even proceed with the move without confirmation of funds—yet now they claim they were never paid??

Furthermore, they’ve refused to insure my belongings, leaving me completely in the dark about what’s happening to my possessions in their storage, stating my itemized list of items is invalid?! I have no idea if my furniture and belongings are safe, damaged or what.. as they’ve provided no accountability whatsoever, and I'm left in the dark!

Due to their unprofessional conduct, leaving my furniture stranded. I was forced to pay my landlord two extra days of rent and an additional £450 to reschedule the property’s check-out, which had to be cancelled and rescheduled because my furniture was still in the property. Additionally, I was charged double the rate of £720 for a deep cleaning services by the estate agents, but because I couldn’t vacate on time. This entire situation has caused me huge financial loss and extreme emotional distress!

After 5 years as a loyal customer to Anyvan, I am appalled to have been left to fend for myself without any assistance. Anyvan has repeatedly dismissed my requests for help and refused to escalate my complaint. Both S2E and Anyvan are now ignoring my emails, leaving me no choice but to contact the police and relevant authorities to address this matter. To this day, this issue remains unresolved.

Anyvan should be held accountable for the movers they recommend, as they are placing customers at significant risk with unvetted, unreliable providers. The real issue here is Anyvan’s negligence in failing to screen and oversee their recommended movers, exposing trusting customers to potentially exploitative and damaging experiences. Both Anyvan and S2E will be formally reported. The emotional and financial toll has been severe, and no customer should have to endure this level of neglect and irresponsibility. Avoid this company if you value your belongings and peace of mind.

AVOID!!!! I had gotten a relatively cheap quote from them which is why I chose them. I read other reviews that said they were late or had miscommunication problems, but I didn’t realise just how bad they’d actually be.


TL;DR: On collection, 3 hrs late, and on delivery, 3 days early. Both with no notice. No communication whatsoever (except when calling for payment, of course) and abusive (shouting, threatening, hanging up on me) over the phone. Also, my desk got chewed up by termites while with them and they are not responding.


On collection day, they were 3 hrs late (with no notice). After collection, I messaged the company on three different days for confirmation of when delivery would finally be (as I’d need to book friends to help me unload), and they would always leave my messages on read.


I ended up calling and they said they'd had a problem, so in the end, delivery would be on Wednesday. On Sunday at 9.30 PM (3 days before Weds!) I was out of town and Adam, from the company, called me saying his driver was outside my flat, ready to unload the truck. Initially he was apologetic, saying that the driver hadn't told him that he would be doing the delivery that day. I told Adam I'd call him back and see if I could get my friends to help me unload earlier than our originally arranged date, and when I told him my friends could do Tuesday morning earliest, he got very angry, shouted at me over the phone, and wouldn't let me speak.


Eventually, I helped him realise that the problem was due to his company’s miscommunication and not something I did, and he offered to hire an extra person to help and to deliver on Monday morning. On Monday, the driver showed up but the extra person hired to help didn't. I had to ask a stranger to help me.


I called Adam to calmly discuss a potential reduction in payment because of this, and he was extremely unprofessional - he immediately started yelling at me and wouldn't let me talk, then he told me he wouldn’t give me my things, hung up on me, and wouldn’t pick up my calls.


When we were finally able to speak again, he agreed to a 100 GBP reduction, but it was a horrible experience. I’m not a conflictive person and I’ve never been spoken to like this, it was awful and completely unnecessary, I hadn’t been rude and his company was the one who continuously made mistakes.


Also, cherry on top, one of the key reasons why I wanted a moving van was to transport an antique desk that I own. On delivery, I saw that it had little holes on one of its legs, leading me to think it could be termites. I know the holes were fresh because wood dust was coming out of it. I have pictures of the desk with the holes (and surrounding wood dust) in the moving van, so I can prove it happened there. I sent them a message about this about a week ago and despite saying they have an antiques insurance policy, they still have not replied.
