After he collected the cabinet he parted from his business partner, had a problem with his van and then his car insurance expired, and I appreciate that he went through a rough patch! This delayed delivery for nearly two weeks. But instead of taking the initiative of keeping us informed on his own accord, we had to keep phoning him and received inconsistent excuses and promises.
In the end he had to deliver the heavy cabinet single handedly, he dismantled the cabinet without asking for permission and failed to reassemble it before delivery, although promised. During our phone calls he didn't appreciate our worries and gave the impression that he might just throw it all in, so we had to tip toe around his temper.
The cabinet was also damaged in several areas and it was delivered in parts, without that he could give instructions how to put it back together again, as he didn't mark the pieces.
Due to lack of communication on his part, we were constantly worried that the cabinet was lost as he was very reluctant to our suggestions to organise an alternative courier, by not volunteering collection address or time, leaving us in complete limbo!

I appreciate the problems he had, but his lack of empathy, and communication skills, made is ten times worse!
I would definitely NOT recommend him! Not because he ran into business problems, but because of his selfish and immature way of dealing with these problems!
