I booked Nigel to do our house move on the 14th Sept from Witney to Worcester. Stupidly we offered to pay Nigel via BACS transfer before the 14th. He needed it cleared on the day so we paid the 11th already. Nigel never mentioned that the money never cleared in his account until an hour before he was due to arrive and I called him for another matter. We double check payment and my bank and Nigel's bank confirmed that the money did clear the Wednesday already in his account. Nigel insisted even though we showed him a screen shot proof of the money that left our account. Its now the 25th September and Nigel still haven't provided proof that the money never cleared on his account before that Saturday.

My husband and I had to pay another smaller van and move our items ourselves. We were supposed to have vacated the property on the 14th but we could only vacate the property on Midnight 15/16th September and do 5 trips up and down a 120 mile round trip. It ended up costing us the same amount but moving it ourselves hurting both my husband and I.

On Monday the 16th, the "Lovely Nigel" confirmed that the money has now cleared but that he would only refund the following Saturday. Apparently he was out of country. We confirmed that he was not. It is now the 25th September and even after various begging emails and text messages and phone calls Nigel refuse to refund us our money. He has therefore fraudulently kept money in his account that is not his. He never did a job for us. Not ever. He was never near my house.

He feels like I owe him compensation, what for I really dont know. I have made an official fraudenlent police report and Nigel still refuses to acknowledge my calls and refund our money. This has caused me, my husband and my kids tremendous stress and financial hardship. We are hugely out of pocket.

Nigel is a lying thief that refuses to show us proof that the money never cleared in his account.

Please do not trust him. Nigel was not the cheapest of my quotes infact he was the most expensive. I went with him because he had the best feedback.

Anyvan cannot do anything as they have no hold on him. It took anyvan almost 2 weeks to refund me because I had to complete a piece of paper that I couldn't download because I didn't have internet until this week.

I buy loads of things online. I have very good eBay rating and I am an Amazon Prime member. I though companies like AnyVan would help me because I would be able to order things from all over the country but pay cheaper delivery charges. How wrong I was.

From the moment I accepted the quote communication was fast and efficient. I couldn't recommend Nigel enough. He is punctual, reliable and very pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and will definitely be using him again.
