After accepting this bid but before collecton we were asked (contrary to AnyVan rules) for payment in full in order for goods to be collected on 7 March. This set alarm bells ringing and on further investigation we found that this courier had registered on AnyVan as a customer too (also against the rules, and with a very similar user name) and entered a job for furniture to be collected from our UK address to our delivery address in France. Also we read very negative feedback that had been posted just after we'd accepted the bid - and found similar negative comments on a competitor's website. On the proposed pickup date Mick did not contact us until 8.00 pm to see if he could come and pick up that evening, although he was at least a 2 hour drive away from us! Prior to this we had already cancelled the job through AnyVan and accepted an alternative bid. |

Is not going to come! Didn´t contact me. I now have no removal company and I´m leaving the country in four days! I have all previous emails and dates confirmed for today. Says he must have got it wrong!!! After so many emails to confirm!! He even mentioned the below montferrier job was going to be done on the way to me. |
