I cannot speak highly enough of Mike. The guy was fantastic. Spot on time. Communicative throughout-- at no point was he not available on the phone. Chilled out about things taking longer than they were meant to (he was collecting furniture from a storage depot and delivering it to my house-- I wasn't there to sort out the issues that came up, he managed it himself) and let me know each step of the way what was going on and how it was affecting our time frame. He checked everything before he put it into the van and rang to let me know about any imperfections- a nice touch to protect us both, and not something I'd asked him to do. He didn't ask to be paid more despite the job not having been as straightforward as we'd thought. And on top of it all, he's just a lovely guy, friendly, easygoing, just really nice. Not planning to go anywhere else for a man with a van from now on. Thanks Mike! |
