About Me
Green Move Removals is a removals company offering environmentally-friendly removal services throughout the UK. We offer a wide range of services from single item, house and office moves, to taking away unwanted furniture to be up-cycled. We have a wide, loyal client base of both individuals and companies, and we pride ourselves on delivering consistently fast, efficient and friendly services to each and every customer.
After several years of working in the removals industry, we became aware of the environmental impact of each move- both in our carbon footprint, and in the amount of unwanted furniture items going to landfill everyday. We decided to take steps to pioneer a more environmentally- responsible way forward for removal companies by joining a carbon-offsetting scheme, using low emission vehicles and up-cycling unwanted furniture.
We are now working in partnership with Trees for Life, a carbon-offsetting scheme that plants one tree for every move we carry out. £3 from the price of each move will go towards the planting of one tree, which we promise to match.
To become an Accredited transport provider we ask our users to present one of the following pieces of documentation to further verify themselves.
- Copy of Goods in Transit Insurance certificate
- Company Registration certificate (if applicable)
- UK VAT registration certificate (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Drivers licence details
