Unfortunately I can't recommend this service. Quote was accepted for 2pm, but it wasn't actually sorted until almost 10pm. First they didn't turn up at 2pm, I was provided with 2 phone numbers & neither seems to know what was going on, kept asking me for pick-up postcode then saying they would pick-up very soon. Then I was told they were on the other side of town and unfortunately delayed. When I reconfirmed they needed 2 people as per the quote, they said they only had the driver & asked if someone could help?!?! Was told they might be able to organise it for the evening, said 7pm but didn't turn up to pick everything up until 8pm – as the pick-up was from a friend's house, that needed the building manager present, the ongoing back & forward was frustrating. Once they picked up the material & my friend told me they were on the way, I called to reconfirm delivery details & was told they would be an hour or so. My friend lives 20 minutes drive away (max) & when I said this, they told me they had other jobs & couldn't deliver it straight away!! Apparently that is the company policy... after waiting from 2pm, I wasn't so understanding and to be honest, I think the only reason it was delivered at 9:45pm was because I said not to expect payment if they arrived after 10pm. In summary, total nightmare & would not recommend. |

He changed the time with the pick up end from 7am to 9.30am without consulting me, lied when questioned implicating they amended the time which they did not and did not let me know the change so we were waiting around and were late for work. Pretty disappointing. Arrived the next day at the arranged time but still pretty frustrating. |
