Disgraceful!!! No initial contact, I had to phone him for a time, arrived late then decided he didn't want to move us at all. He walked in with head hung and a bad attitude and I knew immediately that he was either going to cancel us or try to get more money. Said we had too much stuff for the price quoted but we were only a 2 bed house and have normal amount of stuff. He did not visit first to check, which I invited him to do. Van was really small and it would of taken at least 3-4 trips and he offered to do just 2 which was a joke. He was clearly angling for more money, which I may of offered out of desperation if he has not had such an aggressive and surly attitude. We borrowed a 3 ton Luton in the end and it was 1.5 trips in that with the stuff not packed very tight. We are now out of pocket because of the deposit paid on this site. Do not use this person if you want a stress free, cheapish move he is a horrible man. |
