TERMS & CONDITIONS
You will be contacted at least 24 hours prior to collection / delivery and be given a 2 hour time slot ( London either AM or PM), should this not be convenient we can rebook your job on the next run.
Unless arrangements have made before bid acceptance you are booking a van and ONE driver, it is assumed that help will be available at both ends of journey to load / unload any large items. However, we have equipment on board to assist and will try to accommodate as best we can.
We provide service from “doorstep to doorstep” but will upon request help move items to a particular room including upstairs as long as the customer takes full responsibility as our goods in transit insurance does not extend to moving items inside a property.
Payment is required in cash upon collection or delivery to the driver.

-	5 drawer chest, Rossendale to Droitwich	Lucinda14 25/07/2013	I employed BLITZ DISTRIBUTION to pick up and deliver a chest of drawers. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN BLITZ DISTRIBUTION came back with a mid range price for the job. I checked out their website and they seemed to be a safe company to deliver my item. They claim to be open from 7am until 9pm, work 7 days a week and have been in business for 20 years. Alarm bells started to ring when they first told me my item would be collected from an address in Lancs on a Saturday and delivered to me the same day in Worcestershire They collected the item, but I did not receive it on the allocated day. They did not answer the telephone number on the website which is a mobile number with no answer phone facility and they did not respond to my emails all day Sunday. ( please remember, they claim to work 7 days a week) I did finally get my delivery on Monday afternoon, the delivery man said he had called me to tell me of a delivery time, he did not. After the delivery man had dragged my item off the van and put it in my house I opened the chest of drawers to find one side had fallen off and the corner was bashed and split. None of the drawers open and the chest of drawers had clearly been dropped. After several attempts to speak to BLITZ DISTRIBUTION via phone and email , not an easy company to get through to, I did finally speak to someone and they agreed to claim on their insurance for my very damaged chest of drawers. Needless to say that was the last time I heard from them. They never respond to emails or answer my calls. I am several hundred pounds out of pocket and still have a broken chest of drawers that is only good for fire wood. DO NOT USE THIS DELIVERY COMPANY.
