ArrowUk was my first experience of Any Van and it was the worst I could possibly have had. My job description was to move a large American fridge and furniture. ArrowUk sent a message to me stating they were a professional company that had a Luton Van with a tail lift. I accepted only for them to turn up with a Luton Van with NO tail lift. This immediately meant that the main item (the fridge) I wanted moved wouldn't be going anywhere. They sent me two guys who I realised had no real experience in moving and were physically unfit for the job. They tried to move the fridge but due to the expense of the fridge and the lack of a tail lift van or even a Dolly to manoeuvre the fridge, I told them to stop. They moved the rest of the furniture in their cumbersome way which took about 2 hours and I paid them for the job giving the guys an extra £20. The looks on their face made you think xmas had come early. I called ArrowUk to complain about the fact that the job had not been completed and spoke to a guy called Ryan. He told me that I had not given them an adequate description but I pointed out that they had advertised a tail lift truck. He informed me the truck was only used in Southampton. After putting my point across, Ryan accepted that ArrowUk needed to take some responsibility and said he would try to work something out to get my fridge moved. 3 weeks later and no closer to seeing my fridge moved, I called Ryan only to be told he was on holiday. I then decided to call from a different number only for Ryan to answer the phone. This angered me and I let him know my feelings and pointed out I wanted this issue sorted out today. I was no longer willing to wait. he told me that a man called Neil made all the big decisions and i insisted that Neil contact me within 24 hours. The next day I called Ryan and he passed me onto Neil. Neil said that ArrowUk had no fault in this and that this had been confirmed by Any Van. He said I would need to find someone else to move the fridge for me. I again pointed out that ArrowUk needed to take some responsibility but he was having none of it. I pointed out how dishonest his company was by even claiming Ryan was on holiday to avoid talking to me . Neil then became abusive, shouting down the phone before finally calling me a f**king c**t and hanging up the phone. How Any Van have accredited this company I have no idea especially after reading some of the other reviews with similar complaints. Due to ArrowUk not completing the job i paid £75 for in total I will be reporting the to trading standards for false advertising. I ended up paying another £75 for another company to move the fridge. They came with a tail lift van, Dollies and blankets putting ArrowUk to shame. They completed the job in no more that 45 minutes. I feel that ArrowUk should compensate me for paying twice for 1 job
