If we are unable to complete your job due to no fault on our part you will be charged the full amount for the job.

We had multiple challenges and Acts of God that made this delivery much more complicated than originally envisaged including initial rejection by Andorran customs, traffic chaos on the 2nd attempt and 40cms of snow in 48 hours causing further delays. I will commend Carl for his incredible perseverance, flexibility and commitment to get the job done, despite disruption to his schedules and notwithstanding an already very competitive price for the job. In the end it became a joint venture navigating the snowy pass into Andorra with a different van (equipped for winter) for the successful 3rd attempt! The key was tight and open communication in what could have been a very frustrating and disputatious situation. In dealing with these challenges I learned far more about Carl as a totally honourable professional and a great guy. I will certainly work with him again - although next time I'll avoid winter deliveries!! :-) |
