What to look for in a Transport Provider

Regardless of whether you're moving a sofa, or the contents of a semi-detached house, a fridge or a Ford Focus, you want to know the people responsible for hauling your belongings from A to B are reliable and trustworthy.

How do you know your move is in the hands of people who care? At AnyVan, we go through a rigorous process to ensure that all our Transport Providers (TPs) can carry out work in a manner we're proud to say represents us. 

Here are some key points to look out for:

Your feedback

Here at AnyVan, your voice matters. Your feedback is vital to determine how reliable and trustworthy a provider is and how good our service was. 

We encourage all our users to leave a review once they have completed a job with us to aid future customers in their decision-making. Not only does it help ensure quality with every delivery, but it also guarantees future work for our TPs.

Our standards

Over time, our Transport Providers gain a feedback percentage, shown on the right-hand column on their profile. A higher feedback percentage is an indicator of how reliable they are, but if their rating drops below 4.75, we'll work internally with them to get them back on track.

You can also read written feedback left by previous customers at the bottom of a TP's profile. Doing so may give you a clearer overview of their track record based on previous jobs and levels of customer satisfaction.

Number of recommendations

Located on the right-hand side of the TPs profile, you can see how many recommendations they have received from their previous customers. If a provider has a high number of recommendations, this is a clear indication of the quality of service.

Insurance

It is now a mandatory requirement for all transport providers registered on AnyVan to hold Goods in Transit insurance. Some transport providers may also have other insurance in addition to this. The level of insurance cover a TP holds is also displayed on their profile.

Reviews

Once your move is complete, we'll ask for you to review AnyVan too. Did your driver go above and beyond for you? Well, this is your chance to leave praise in a public forum.

All of these reviews are monitored and noted by our customer service team. Not only that, your words may be picked up by other movers and could influence their decision to book with AnyVan.
