The courier services team at Anyvan is delighted to announce that since the launch of its service and website, it has saved its customers over £1.4 million. That’s a fair few pounds saved paying top delivery charges!
And the Anyvan courier services team has calculated that in April alone, it saved a staggering 480,000 delivery miles which is the same as going for a drive to the moon and back.
And an increasing number of these trips are overseas, which means we’re doing our bit to take the strain off the European transport system as well. Indeed, in April, just shy of 15% of all our trips were foreign and this trend is set to continue throughout the year.
Indeed, May is traditionally the busiest month for British people abroad, so we’re expecting a record month for overseas trips. It always amazes us how many man and van teams are working abroad and it’s good to see that we are doing our bit to help European trade.
And it’s great fun, when you have a look at the job listings, just how many goods and possessions are being transported backwards and forwards. For example, one of our recent listings concerned bringing back a Honda Gold Wing motorbike from Tenerife to the south coast of Spain. That’s some job, bearing in mind that it would be difficult to ride it back, seeing as it was mostly over water.
So, April was a great month for saving people money and also doing our bit for saving the planet as well. Which, for the Anyvan courier services team, is a great cause for celebration.
