AnyVan: Over the Moon – Ten Times!

We've done it: we have finished May off (and started June), in the knowledge that since our launch 20 months ago we have saved over 5,000,000 delivery miles in wasted journeys. And that equates to ten journeys to the moon and back.

And not only that, the courier services team has worked out that all this  adds up to a colossal £1,900,000 of customer savings.

Now, that’s not bad for a company that’s only been in existence for just 20 months and one which set out with the aim of helping to save its customers loads of money, assistingman and van and local couriers throughout the country, as well as helping to save the environment.

Another milestone reached in May has seen the company pass the 50,000 user mark. It is amazing to think that that many people have used our website to get themselves the delivery deal that made sense for them.

But that’s not all in a very busy month of May. We also launched our ‘Recommend and Reward’ campaign which sees us reward those that point out Anyvan to their family, friends and work colleagues. The people who get recommended get £5 credit towards their first move and the ones that do the recommending, get £10 AnyVan credit, or £5 in their pocket. Now we can’t say fairer than that, can we?

So, it’s now onto June and a chance to build further on the business we believe is making a real difference to thousands of people’s lives. Now that’s something the courier services team is looking forward to.
