You’re going to be spending a lot of time on the sofa in autumn and winter (hopefully getting cosy with someone special!) or maybe just cuddling up to your cat or dog. The “dark nights, dark rooms” dilemma…

We all know in autumn and winter that the nights draw in and the evenings get darker, quicker. Because of the lack of sunlight during these colder months, it’s easy for your home to start feeling a bit dark and dreary too. If you want to avoid that, and you want to breathe a little bit of light and life into your rooms, then repainting furniture in a lighter shade, can be an easy way to do this.

We’d recommend going for big pieces of furniture that take up a lot of room.
